Date night gets cheap

3 May
Since I didn’t get to write my usual Blissfully Domestic review of Lost last week (the episode that aired was a rerun) I spent some time trying to think of another subject to write about.  I’ve been really busy at work lately, so my brain has been mush, but one subject came to mind that most couples out there can relate to.
Due to these trying economic times, a lot of us have been feeling the pinch.  People out there have lost their jobs, or have seen their hours cut back.  These stresses, in addition to an already busy lifestyle that, for some, includes juggling children’s activities, date nights are often lost.  And let’s be honest: all couples need that alone time to recharge the batteries and just breathe a bit.
For that reason, I compiled a list of some of my favorite movies, along with some chosen by you the readers, and published an article at Blissfully Domestic this morning.  Even if you don’t like any of the films on the list, think about renting a movie that you can relax and watch with your significant other.  For those of you out there who have children, find a family-friendly movie, or simply wait until your kids are in bed to pop in that DVD and cuddle up on the couch.
